Bachelor of International Management
Relevance of the Programme | The international bachelor program prepares students for a career in an international business environment in Germany or abroad. Foreign students get to know the German culture and language while German students will be prepared professionally and culturally for a future job in an international company. The specialisation during the sixth and seventh semesters allows a direct entry into internationally oriented functional departments. The entrepreneurship and SME specialisation provides the basis for independent entrepreneurial activity and an orientation towards the particular challenges of international small and medium-sized companies. |
Study Requirements | (1) Advanced technical college entrance qualification or general qualification for university entrance, baccalaureate or a comparable foreign higher education entrance qualification; (2) English language skills; (3) German language skills on the level A2. |

Course of Study | The duration of the study program International Management is 7 semesters and leads after successfully completion to a Bachelor (degree) of International Management. During the first 3 semesters, basics of international management are taught, e.g. accounting, HR and finance. After 3 Semesters students have 3 options: 1. They can spend the 4th semester at one of our international partner universities. 2. They spend the 5th practical semester as an intern in a company abroad. 3. They stay at FHWS. Credits from our partner university will be checked and usually acknowledged by FHWS. During Semester 6 and 7 the theoretical and practical skills will be intensified in two majors. Besides the bachelor thesis is being processed. |

Double Degree Programme | The faculty offers a Double Degree Program where selected Students are able to receive two bachelor degrees in the scheduled study time. During the first 2 semesters students apply to take part in the double degree program. After being accepted they spend 2 of the 7 semesters (60 CP) at one of our partner universities. After the successful completion of the Double Degree Program, students receive a German bachelor degree from FHWS and a second bachelor degree from the partner university.
