Applicability
The students play a computer-based / internet-based business game where they can apply all the knowledge that they have acquired in the previous modules. Furthermore, IT systems and their use are discussed from a managerial point of view.
The module is not meant for usage in other study programs.

After successfully completing this module, the students …
- know the fundamental principles and concepts of decision theory, game theory, and behavioural economics
- can recognize the core characteristics of decision problems
- understand the essential principles of strategic thinking using game theoretical approaches
- comprehend the economic fundamentals of bargaining and negotiation
- are able to analyze and discuss available information for qualified strategic and individual decisions using profound reasoning
- can describe the framework that is needed for an MIS to work
- can explain the functioning of an MIS
- understand the value added by implementing MIS in a corporation
- know the basic needs for an MIS to work within a given or planned IT-Infrastructure
- understand the dependencies between organizational structure and MIS and can analyse and identify challenges for an MIS in order to be beneficial for the department or company
